Workshop
Our violinmaking workshop is in the rear of the building named „Golden Cross“. The whole complex of buildings was a hotel in former times, where Emperor Charles V. procreated his son Don Juan d’Austria when he visited Regensburg
Today we build our instruments in that part of the house where the servants and maids lived. Four round arched windows join the workshop with the former dancing-hall, and though we are in the middle of the historic town-centre, it’s absolutely quiet.
In this tranquil atmosphere we do all restorations of instruments and bows, like rehairing, lapping and adjusting the screw.
We have all accessories on stock like cases, bows and strings, or we can supply in very short time.
